The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic Men's Fraternal organization founded on the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.
Knights realize that our mission and our faith in God compels us to action. There is no better way to experience love and compassion than by helping those in need; a call we answer daily.
Members of the Knights of Columbus all know that - together - we can accomplish far more than any of us could individually. As a Knight, you can count on the support and encouragement of your brother Knights as you work to make life better in this parish and area communities.
the Francis X. Hoffer Council 1504 membership participates in and supports numerous activities and events throughout the year donating time, talent, and treasure. Some of the major beneficiaries of our charitable support include: Mount St. Mary's Seminary, individual seminarians, Elizabeth New Life Center, Special Olympics, Alzheimer's Association, St. Vincent DePaul, Green Inc. and others.
faith in Action programs include: supporting the Dayton Rosary rally, Coats for kids, 5th Sundary Rosary, Respect Life activities, and Building the Domestic Church booklets. Other activities include: annual Easter egg hunt, Anniversary dinner, Parish picnic, and a memorial mass for deceased members. Local fundraisers include: Spring mulch sale, spaghetti dinners, and doughnut Sundays. We work closely with the St. Francis Men's Club on fundraisers, other projects, and general support of the needs of the parish.
